Skyline Construction Management is a Pietermaritzburg based firm established in 2008, owned by Rob Joynson. Outstanding performance is what Skyline strives for, aiming to provide the private sector with the highest quality of service delivery. Without ever compromising on quality, Skyline continuously endeavours to complete projects timeously, and within budget. As a diversified company, we have the expertise to ensure that resources are utilised to their fullest and that our clients receive the best value for money.

Meet the Team
Rob Joynson - Director
Rob started as a trainee building surveyor with LTA Construction in 1977 and qualified as a building surveyor with distinction in 1981. Valuable experience was gained in the building industry prior to joining a private practice in 1985. Rob spent ten years obtaining good professional experience as a Quantity Surveyor, before leaving to becoming a partner with Lang Binney Associates in 1995.
It was in 2000, after joining VJV Consultants in Pietermaritzburg as partner, that Rob diversified and took on more the role of Project Manager on various projects. This is where he found a niche area, complimenting the Quantity Surveying service already provided.
In March 2008, Rob founded Skyline Construction Management and Development. It was his vision to create a company which offered both Project and Construction Management services, together with Quantity Surveying services.
Tanya Williamson - Quantity Surveyor
Tanya started working with Armstrong Construction as a trainee quantity surveyor in 2007. During this time, she completed her Diploma in Building. In August 2011, she started working at Skyline as a Candidate Quantity Surveyor. She then obtained her Degree in Quantity Surveying in 2012. Tanya is currently in the process of obtaining her professional registration.
Thembi Mbhele - Quantity Surveyor
Thembi started working with Altak Africa as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor in 2006 and in that year she completed her National Diploma in Building. Towards the end of 2008, she started working at DHD Construction as a Quantity Surveyor. She was there for 5 years, and in that time she obtained her Degree in Quantity Surveying. In November 2013, Thembi started working at Skyline as a Candidate Quantity Surveyor.
Zaitoon Khan - Junior Project Manager
Zaza started working at Skyline in February 2013 as a Personal Assistant to Rob Joynson and general office assistant, handling all office administration. Since January 2016, she has been training under Rob in order to broaden her industry knowledge and skills set, and to aspire to the position of Junior Project Manager.
